Thank you for all your support for your local Conservative candidate for Devon County Council. This May the elections have never been more at stake, and every vote counts.

You may spot your local candidate telling you about themselves on a Facebook ad, supported by the Devon area team. Thank you very much to Charlie Carlyle for helping to make this video project possible and to all of our talented candidates, most of which are incumbents.

We are hoping to be reinstated with a majority.

The important thing to remember about these elections is that a protest vote won’t help those people supporting inexperienced candidates who have never done the job before. The term is possibly very short – 18 months to 2 years after they get their feet under the table and understand how things work. The first 12 months expenditure plan is already factored in. The main difference our May 2025 councillors will make, is to battle hard when it comes to setting up the new unitary council for Devon – once Devon County Council and your local district Council is abolished and amalgamated into one unitary council for the whole area. Experience will count hugely. Please re-elect those most likely to know what being a district or county councillor is like, or be part of a big group with many mentors.

Thanks to James McInnis, Andrea and team including Hayward and Lucille, Sam and Mike, who are helping to make this campaign as effective as possible.
